Son allegedly burns stepmother alive over property dispute in J&K's Udhampur

A 27-year-old man has been detained by Udhampur Police for allegedly setting his stepmother, Sushma Devi, ablaze after pouring diesel on her at their residence in Housing Colony. She suffered 80 per cent burn injuries and later succumbed at GMC Jammu. A suspected family property dispute is being examined as investigators probe the case.
