A 36-year-old man was killed when his vehicle left the roadway, rolled several times into a ditch and struck a pole in Houston early Sunday, according to Houston police.
Officers were dispatched at about 2:39 a.m. to the 9000 block of Humble Westfield Road, near McKnight Lane.
Police said the man was a DJ and was leaving a party. Houston Fire Department personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators said the driver was ejected and appeared not to have been wearing a seat belt.
Police have not released the name or other identifying information of the victim.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
